KiddiKutters are kids-friendly kitchen knifes specially designed by an Australian mum, Maria Georgiou, with rounded serrations so they cut food - not fingers. KiddiKutters are BPA-free, completely food safe, easy-to-use and dishwasher safe. They are also the winner product of "The Housewares Innovation Awards 2019".

- The jorney to create KiddiKutter

When Maria Georgiou’s son was three, he asked if he could help in the kitchen. But because he had dyspraxia (clumsy child syndrome), handing him a knife was courting disaster. However, this sparked an idea. In 2000, she began looking for a solution that would allow little ones to assist in the kitchen. KiddiKutter was born. With worldwide trademarks, the children’s knife has passed strict European and Australian safety certifications to ensure it’s safe and nontoxic to use with food, something other companies have not done.

- How KiddiKutter works
It can be scary worrying about cut little fingers. KiddiKutter knives change that so your mini chefs can join in and create their own dishes safely. KiddiKutter knives work by using a sawing action. They are not sharp and they won’t chop, but they will allow children to slice and dice fruit and vegetables and cut up their food. Now you can let kids as young as three help you in the kitchen without worrying about cuts and injuries.

- Benefits of using KiddiKutter
Using their own knife, children will learn and develop fine motor skills, boost self-confidence and teach them independent eating habits. Additionally, when you let them into the kitchen, you can teach them about food and nutrition and they are likely to want to try new fruits and vegetables along the way. KiddiKutters are handy for carrying in your nappy bag so you’re well equipped at snack time, and are ideal for use in cookery classes at schools and kindergartens.
